jvm-7-avian-jre software package provides lightweight virtual machine using the OpenJDK class library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install jvm-7-avian-jre
jvm-7-avian-jre is installed in your system.
Make ensure the jvm-7-avian-jre package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep jvm-7-avian-jre *
You will get with jvm-7-avian-jre package name, version, architecture and description in a table
